Curaçao eGaming announces ‘crackdown’ on multi-accounting fraud.
06.12.2021
Curaçao eGaming (“CEG”)
world leader in private regulatory licensing has announced a ‘crackdown’
against fraud committed via so called “multi-accounting”. It is the practice
where players (end users) attempt to circumvent rules and regulations by
playing under different accounts and names.
Angelique Snel-Guttenberg,
CEO: “We shall no longer tolerate this kind of player behaviour as it makes it
impossible for operators to properly guide players that display problematic
gambling behaviour. It also makes it impossible to award players that do behave
properly with a decent bonus. Players as well as suppliers could face a lifelong
ban from any Curaçao regulated website as well as criminal prosecution.”
